Snakin
This was my first race weekend with the CMC group and I am happy to say, it was fantastic!!! From the help and advise in getting my car ready prior to the event, the assistance and guidance during the weekend, and the overall help and support through the whole experience. Just wanted to say to everyone in CMC, thank you! I look forward to enjoying many more events this year and further. Thanks again to everyone. Lady in Nomex
Brett, it was nice meeting you. You did great out there! Looking forward to seeing you at Thunderhill!
Kevin Hall
I have to echo Brett's sentiments. Especially thanks to the 31 car, who helped us with a torque arm bushing, and Steve Graves who pointed us to the boneyard to find the new toque arm! We had some struggles this weekend, but it was fun. We'll miss the nest event, but will be back at Buttonwillow in June, hopefully with better brakes, a lower car, and different headlamp covers. Thanks from Dave, Thomas and I. Kevin Hall #82 '83 Z28
bsim
Well said - you guys did a good job (as did the other rookies). I too have to thank Steve. And Tim, and Al, and especially Per - who was helping me get a new rear trans seal into the car up until 8:00 Saturday night (okay, so we took a break for the BBQ and an adult beverage). But things like this make me realize (going into my 2nd year) that this is a great place to be, not only for the racing, but for the people... ToTheLimit
Great weekend as always. But it seems like last few times at Buttonwillow I been spending more time under cars than in them Great BBQ, thanks Greg and crew! Was a welcome break from working on Brads car (still cant figure out how Brad was able to get me to replace that seal...started out with asking me where his oil leak was coming from ,next thing I know I am under car covered with dirt!) bsim
till cant figure out how Brad was able to get me to replace that seal... I guess it's just my powers of persuasion! Plus, you probably just wanted to see if my woodworking skills were good enough to make a seal press...
Lady in Nomex
I want to say thank you for a fun weekend to my competitors and brother in law pit crew Gary Lindberg. Also a big thank you to Greg and Julie Robinson for putting on such a first class BBQ! The margaritas were excellent BTW!
Tony G
This is just great to see how fantastic this series is doing, and as I always say, its the people that make this happen. Thanks to everyone who attended and made it what it was, and all the rookies were really a perfect addition to CMC! Thanks, Tony Guaglione Chief Director
kincy
I was at Buttonwillow last weekend for the inaugaural ARC race (I was in that golf tournament the weekend before and missed the NASA event) and the track folks said the previous NASA weekend was the largest event (in terms of entries) ever held at Buttonwillow. That picture of the line up of the CMC cars sure looked good. ' Perry
