Members Al F. Posted June 25, 2004 Members Posted June 25, 2004 Ed Varon appealed the decision to reposition him for the contact in the first race at Buttonwillow a couple of weekends ago. The appeal was partially upheld by the Nasa Executive Director, therefore Ed is being recorded as finishing 2nd for that race, but still received a four race probation. The results page has been updated to show the official points for everyone that ran that race. Additionally, the event report has been updated to show the official results. Quote
Tony G Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 Al, Thanks for the update. Jerry Kunzman did an excellent job on the executive appeal process and I would like to express my thanks to him and everyone else involved. Time to move on and enjoy our series as it should be. Ed Varon Posted June 26, 2004 Posted June 26, 2004 I would also like to thank everyone involved in the appeal. I also would like to apologize to Tony, Al and Mike for some of my behavior in the process. What I learned here is that I need to cool off at least 24hrs before making any comments. Generally I'm a pretty even tempered person but if I get worked up I tend to react in less then an even temper fashion. I'm also looking forward to getting this behind us and get back to racing. -Ed Quote
cmc38camaro Posted June 28, 2004 Posted June 28, 2004 Ed, This is all water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. Let's agree to have fun out there, things have gotten way too serious this year. Thanks Mike Quote
