Mustang rim question

Searched with little results.

What are some good 5-lug rims that can handle the race abuse and are not to heavy.

Any suggestions would be great, Thanks.

You can use any cobra copy,or I use the ASA JS5 wheels made by BBS.

You can see them on tirerack.com.

Or see them on my car CMC#55.

They cost around $110 each.

Kevin...be careful....the only reason those wheels have held up is that Tony rarely races over three laps before the engine blows or the electricals fizzle with a resultant engine governor...why else do you think our shoot-out is only 3 laps? he's afraid his Mustang wont make it any farther...rp

Tony recomended these wheel to us too and they have worked out great for both our cars. Plus they look pretty cool. I have no idea what they weigh but we have taken two direct impacts on to these rims and haven't had to replace one yet. They are incredibly durable just like my stock ford 5.0 with over 150,000, never rebuilt, never failed to finish a race. How many GM cars can make that claim?

All right James, how about our 1990 RS Convertible 5.0 with about 230,000 on the clock, and it still got 100mph on the speedo through NASCAR 1 and 2 when we were there with VARA in the spring?

Your car is pretty quick, though..... for a Mustang.

Tirerack says the ASA JS5 16x8 weighs in at 21 pounds. I also ask about some others just for a reference point and they weighed more than the JS5 so it should be fairly close.
