Weather will be sunny and 72 degees, just perfect weather!

We will have the prac/qual/race sessions as usual, and a feature CMC race on both days.

We may run with another group also for one race, but otherwise we are on our own!

Tons of fun planned,so don't miss this one.

We will also let you guys in about the rules for 2005,and a few other possible things that are in store for CMC next year.

Should have 20 plus cars.

See you there ,

Tony Guaglione

Don't forget our bet, Tony....I propose we use either my car or yours, doesn't really matter as I'll be faster in either, and use the qualifying session for our matchup...we'll split the time...maybe 4 laps each to set fastest time....this should give us the front row with me on pole for the race and you second or third or fourth, however, I'm just going to be helping Jim Carroll get dialed in with the new #27CMC Camaro Z28 I just built for him so I won't be racing (next year; we're building the 4th gen Camaro right now)...matter of fact, how about using this car for the shootout? Jim won't mind a few scratches on it. And if anyone is interested in having a car built or buying one our ready-to-race cars, stop by on Saturday and pick up a build sheet...or check out Jim's new car as I (yeah, well maybe Tony if he gets real lucky) put it on the Pole for the Saturday CMC race....Richard "Mr. Modest" Pryor

OK,you are on, and I say let's make this a little more interesting.

Fastest qualifier buys the other guys dinner and waxes his car too.

I'll bring the wax,you bring the elbow grease since you will lose this one for sure.

I can see it now on the front page of Speednews:

"Mustang kills Camaro once again in CMC races"

I thought we were going to both drive the same car and split the qualifying session...we already know the Camaros are superior to the Mustangs and by driving the same car I can show you once-and-for-all how superior a driver I am to you when I outqualify you by at least half a second a lap..in the same car, at the same track, the same session...and you can chose if you want the first or second half of the qualifying session...but dinner and waxing the other guy's car works...for you....we can use Jim Carroll's brand new #27 CMC Camaro, or your Mustang...or your....Camaro?....it doesn't matter which car as in addition to beating your time I expect to put any one of the three on the pole for the CMC race....Richard "the older I get, the faster I was" Pryor

Heather, can we talk! A little history here. When I first started running CMC Sears dates were few and far between. My first memories of CMC on the subject of Sears are of much muttering amongst the old timers, like ....wet, and wrecked cars! When I did run Sears for the first few times and there was even a possibility of rain, only a few hard cores would show up! This time of year is a crapshoot on the weather, so far the dice are rollin' our way!

Heather...as one of those "old-timers" that Julie is referring to, let me tell you that I do NOT race in the rain, yet I will be at Sears Point this weekend...draw your own conclusion but rest assured I wouldn't waste a weekend sitting around a wet track...I expect to have a dry track and show Tony that in the same car I can beat him by at least half a second at Sears.....Tony will drive the first half of the Saturday qualifying session and I'll drive the second half...as long as conditions remain the same (ie, no rain or blown Mustang engines dumping oil on the track) we will settle once and for all who is the fastest driver between the two of us....Richard "honest, officer, I was just speeding so I could get to the gas station before I ran out of gas" Pryor

Heather,

Dont worry, the weather report is getting better and better.

I don't think its going to rain, and if it does..what fun we will have!

If Brett is scared to drive tell him I'll drive his car for him...Hee Hee Hee

Rain X is the trick, put the rain formula outside, anti fog inside your windshield. Also put anti fog on the inside of your helmet visor. It is amazing how well this stuff works. I actually had wipers for one rainy weekend and did not use them at all in a good rain because the Rain X beaded up the water so well!

Rain-X is great. I discovered it when the 2 speed wipers (off and occaisional) on my TR3 lived up to the british car electrical legend for several years during college. If you go fast enough, the water goes right over your head with the top down.
