kincy Posted January 17, 2005 Share Posted January 17, 2005 Some of us running CMC got our start on a track at either the Memphis annual events run loosely by the F-body Mailing List or at the Vegas 98 get together run on the West Coast (it was Halloween of 98 in Las Vegas at LVMS) that kinda was a rent the track and bring 60 of your closest friends with FBodies type deal. Memphis is still an early summer annual event but we have not had a West Coast Event since 98. It looks like their will be a West Coast gettogether this year. Over the July 4th weekend. Without a CMC event that month hopefully we can get some of the Chebby/Pontiac folks out for the long weekend. Hopefully it will be a couple of levels of HPDE, a race group (for properly preparred cars with race licensed drivers) and a drag nite at a nearby drag strip. Maybe a show and shine also for those that would prefer to watch. Don't see how we can do an autocross at this one like we did in Vegas however.
