Guest
Can someone post some front window pics of the window clips or email them to me? Ford or GM will work, I can't see there being much of a difference. [email protected] Also, where can these be found? Searched the internet with little success. Thanks, Kevin

Adam Ginsberg
Kevin - the clips on my car were made from bar stock AL by the previous owner. Cut and bent for each location ( as well as rear window straps ), then pop riveted into place. I don't have any close up pics of them installed, unfortunately. They were removed to install a new windshield ( can you say HOOD PINS! ), and haven't found their way back onto the car. If you're interested, I can take a few pics of just the clips themselves, and post 'em up.
Tony G
Easy way is to just buy a stick of aluminum around 3/4 to 1" wide ,and cut 5 pieces 3" long. Put three on the top of the windshield and one on each side of the lower area windshield. Just rivet in place. Tony Guaglione
rzaron53
What are the other two dimension of the window clips? ? x ? x 1" ??
rzaron53
Opps, I meant the other one dimension..... 3" x 1" x ?
King Matt1548534716
You're looking for 1 inch wide by 1/8-inch thick aluminum strap to cut into shorter sections.
Adam Ginsberg
Also, it would be a good idea to wrap/cover/protect the ends that touch the windshield or back window. Not doing so could cause it to dig into the glass, or possibly break it.
GT4Point6
HD sells 3/4", 1" and 1.5" x 1/8" thick bars in 3' and 4' lengths for about $5.
rzaron53
Ok, after 30 min wandering around HD I found the material, cut it, deburred it, ect. I drilled a single pilot for the pop rivet, but then I thought there may be a requirement for the no. of fasteners. Is there a requirement? I would rather drill 5 holes through my car than 10. Thanks.
Tony G
I would say two holes per clip, because if there is only one hole you could have the clip turn on you which would make it worthless, and with two that could never happen. Tony
King Matt1548534716
I used 2 holes per clip in mine, and I would recommend attaching them with sheetmetal screws rather than rivets just in case you ever have to remove them.
Guest
please use rivets ( they can be drilled out to remove) as sheet metal screws have been known to end up on track and will ruin a good TOYO . yours or someone else .quin sabe ? # 6 cmc
Tony G
Agreed, use rivets...two of them Tony
