You can get one from Richard Pryor for about $600.

Better yet, contact Tony, they're more affordable.

Speaking of which Tony, I need a care package soon. CMC/Toyo stickers, and a set of front pads (LS1). I'll email you...

Since Tony is on vacation, you should give the guys at Rat Racing Graphics a shout. They have really nice prices for us CMC folks.

Al, they might be great, but....they don't have a useable website for ordering and if they are closed, like right now, you're out of luck...I just went to www.edecals.com to order number packs for our two new cars...in this day and age of instant computer gratification you can't afford to have as inferior a website as Rat's...richard

That sure is a perty site there Richard...but I'll take having to make a phone call and spend $6 over instant gratification costing me $27 (for a windshield banner anyway) any day.

Glenn, go to this link. Barry w/fordpower.net and Todd worked out an arrangement in 2003 to help our racers.

CMC/AI windshield banners for $15 each. Names for $15. A damn good deal.

well i assumed there was a standard banner for all to use so all of them would appear the same. what are the requirements of font and size as it pertains to the banner?

adam, i have a car sponsor who is able to cut graphics for me. i didnt ask him for the CMC banner as i didnt want it to look different from the rest of the field. depending on answers here, i would assume i can have him do it.

Glenn,

Yes you can have your shop do the CMC banner. The expectation is that it does look like the standard banner. If you order from www.fordpower.net, he has the font/size all set. Otherwise, refer to the rules, refer to pics (see Driver Profiles on this site), and use white block font letters.

If you have any further questions, feel free to contact Adam or Myself and we'll see you at MSR for Round #1!

i have refered to the rules (8.2.2), and nothing is there regarding font and size of the windshield banner. please correct me here for all to see if i'm wrong. now it does say the drivers name needs to be 4" @ the same place in the rules where the banner is mentioned (not in the same sentence). does this mean the rules are also refering to the banner?

in order to keep these the same and promote a more profesoinal appearance, i think we need to have one supplier of these banners (keep the price in check) @ least @ the regional level. $15 seems very reasonable.

Sounds like you answered your own question!

In the Texas region, you can obtain the windshield and name decals from www.fordpower.net. He has the exact font & size necessary which is the same as the others have gotten and the price is $15!

Todd, cookies are your friend.

I posted that from work, where there are no cookies...no milk...and certainly no cigars.

Close...but no cigars!

Guys,

Sorry I was out of town as Al said.

I carry these with me in my trailer for $9 each pre made and in the correct font, size, slant and color.

If you make your own please make them exactly the same so we don't have different ones floating around on your windshield.

If you need one let me know.

Thanks,

Tony Guaglione

I just ordered from Rat Graphics, I'll add my positive 2 cents for Brian over there.

I requested a quote through the site, and he got back to me th efollowing morning. We went through a few proofs getting it right, and he should be shipping them off tomorrow.

A nice touch was on one of the proofs he included the dimensions - that was a big plus, as my name in standard 4" font would have been too wide. We adjusted it via e-mail, and we're off and running.

Very cool and easy to deal with - recommended...
