red98mustanggt
i've read the rules and all that stuff but am still a little confused. can anyone tell me what is the minimum amount of stuff i would have to do to compete in an event? and where can i get what i need? how and where can u get a lisence? i have a 98 mustang gt with long tube headers. the rules say u have to have the factory exhaust manifolds in place. do they really inforce that rule? and if so can i still run in a "fun run" race? and any other info that might help would be greatly appreciated. bsim
can anyone tell me what is the minimum amount of stuff i would have to do to compete in an event? You need safety equipment (as required in the NASA CCR)cageseatkill-switchfire system/extinguisherwindow netetc. Plus a set of Toyos. and where can i get what i need?Just about anywhere on the internet. A cage would need to be built, unless you bought a pre-fab bolt in from Autopower (www.ioportracing.com)how and where can u get a lisence?Tony G. can help you with that.i have a 98 mustang gt with long tube headers. the rules say u have to have the factory exhaust manifolds in place. do they really inforce that rule?Yup.and if so can i still run in a "fun run" race? That's up to the director's, but I think the answer would be yes, for a limited number of races (two I think).
