bsim
Guys, send me your race notes (goods/bads/uglies). Doesn't matter where you finished, just send them to my e-mail link on this board. I'll compile them in the next day or so, then get it sent off to the directors for finalization. I'd like to finish by tomorrow (Thursday) night, so get 'em in! Glenn
things that stick out in my mind. lost power stearing sat qual on the first lap due to an alt bracket failure. found this out @ turn-in for turn 7. ran 2 more laps and qual'ed 15th. ran the sat race w/ no power stearing. picked up 5 spots for a 10th finish. fri race, beat the track record by alot, only to have Aaron B beat it by .2 more than me. more to follow as i remember it. Adam Ginsberg
A few more items to add to the National race report - Competitors from around the US meeting each other for the first time. The opening drivers meeting. The pizza party Saturday night. Camp Texas being AIX/AI and CMC central for drivers meetings. Attempting a dive-move on Todd @ T7, only to have him take it right back. Finishing 4th on Satuday's qual race, and following Brady for way too long. Getting DQ'd on Friday, being gridded 22nd out of 24 cars, and driving my way thru 16 positions to finish 6th in the big race on Sunday. Having an absolute blast racing at one of the best tracks in the US, against fierce, but respectful competition. Waiting for 2007 to roll around.
