Greg R.
First off, it was good to see both of you unhurt. That was a hard hit as evidenced by Kevin's head movement even with a HANS device. That will be a good piece of video to keep as a reminder of just what we are up against every time we get in the car. Every thing else can be repaired or replaced--except your health. Congratulations to all who competed this year and especially those who made the trip to the Nationals. You are what makes CMC the best class out there. GT4Point6
Thanks for the kind words. Again, proving CMC is by far, the greatest series ever! Looking at the video, it happened close to 4k in third, or 60 mph.
Redding CMCer
So glad to hear everyone came out basically unhurt. It is amazing how much damage can be inflicted on these cars and the drivers come out with little or no injuries. A testament to the roll cages and the rules that keep us safe. Kevin...Hope you can get your car back on the track for the first race next year. Kirk....as a 3rd Gen driver myself I hate to see another 3rd Gen be busted up but I know you will be back stronger than ever next year. Good luck to both of you. Looking forward to entering the fray next year. Gary

The required safety equipment does it's job time and time again. Not that we need to prove it, but it deserves a horn toot from time to time to make sure all fully understand why we have the safety requirements that we do. Drivers are just along for the ride after the green is dropped, period. The hardware we strap ourselves into, is relied on to do it's job after that. We just drive and that is the easier of the two IMO.......
Tony G
You guys are right on here. As I saw it happpen and also had no time to see how you were until the next lap by and that next lap took forever for me to get back to see that you guys were indeed OK. Its funny but I never looked at the cars and how damaged they were as I could really care less, all I wanted to see was that both of you were out and talking which you were and then I knew all was good. The cars, the build of the cages, and most important the safety items we wear is where its all at, which was once again proven here. I'm glad you both walked away. Kevin, I will donate my $300 winnings this weekend to you so you can buy a few Toyo's ,so I'll send the certificate to you this week. Thanks, Tony Guaglione

Thanks, Tony Guaglione Thanks Tony! I really appreciate that! I found a place in San Diego called Certifit and their prices are slightly cheaper for most parts than the place Keith posted about which works for me since this place is a lot closer!
