Are cobra parts legal yet?

Admiral, I hear ya, sooner is better, but...at the same time if "regular life" gets in the way of building cars, shouldn't everyone understand that "regular life" can get in the way of rule writing?

Yup, what Todd said.

We are done, and now National is going over them to just make sure they check on what myself and the directors wrote up for you all.

So I am pounding them like your pounding me,but in the end we want to make sure all is good and that we DONT have to go back in and fix things after they are released.

Thanks,

Tony Guaglione

CMC National Director

Absolutely! That darn "regular life" of mine is the only thing keeping me from having a fun time it seems.

Like I said, I had too much coffee and a few spare minutes this morning, no offense intended.

Done, and with "NASA headquarters checking them" we will have them up soon.

You can email me if you have any questions about something that is keeping you from doing something on your car this week.

Al Fernanadez will be going over a few more things this weekend with myself and then I think we will be good to go.

Lots of small stuff to get right.

Thanks,

Tony Guaglione

Ditto what Tony said, feel free to email me or call my temp cell 925-997-4010 and I'll give you whatever I can.

Most notably, Mustang min weight is now 3400, and all carbed cars must have "how do you spell COMPUTER?" in 5" letters on both sides of the car.

@ this point i'm worried myself and others will not have time to make the changes we may need to make to become legal if any rules changes caused us to now not be legal. i have 2 months left till my first race weekend. w/ getting my motor and trans finished and re-installed along w/ break-in and dyno cert'ing, i dont have much free time left. could we get a look @ these at least? even if it is w/ a disclaimer that they are not yet official?

plus, there are some CMC-2 cars that would like to start working on their entry for '07 that dont have a rule set to work off of.

I hope nothing changes that makes anybody illegal, unless they were illegal already. But a lot of us are holding off on things waiting for these rules to come out!!!

from what i saw at Nat's, just clarifying some rules will cause some to undo things that were done.........possibly.

like Matt said, i'm kinda in a holding pattern till i see the rules.

Ok,we are close.

Rules have been done for 2 plus weeks.

WE just cant post them until we are done with the NASA logistics which affect us all, so hang in there and I'm going back into the thick of it all again in the morning.

Close but no cigar..yet...
