Mustang Steering shaft Diameter?

Hey everyone. I am not able to get to my car for another week and need to decide between 5/8" and 3/4" shaft diameter for a quick release. I forget what size the shaft is.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For those interested:

(Fox column)

5/8" on the threaded portion and just shy of 3/4 on the machined part before the taper.

Well thanks for remembering that I was away, Kent. I am truly touched.

 

 

We were on the red-eye friday night, home saturday around 5pm.

 

Susan and I had such a great time. Fresh sea food everyday, lounging on remote beaches. The 4 wheelin over lava rocks to get back to some of them was a blast. Then there is the twisty mountain roads, its amazing how well the new wranglers handle.
