tacovini
What: 2006 Texas AI/CMC Banquet Awards, Buffet, Videos, Track time. Who: Everybody! When: January 13, 2007. 6pm-10pm Where: SpeedZone, Dallas, Texas. http://www.speedzone.com/dallas/index.html RSVP: bypassm at yahoo dot com. Please put "RSVP" in subject line. So far; Marshall Mosty Daron Cook +1 Todd Covini Glenn Landrum +4 James Proctor +1 Robert King +1 Richard Pedersen +4 Chris Marvel +1 David Donovan +1 Nick Runyon +1 Jerry MacNeil Chris Lyons +1 Michael Mosty +1 Eric F. Varner +2 Jeff Brooks Micah Bishop Mason Melkowits +1 LiiR 3 Mike Bell +2 Mitch Warren +1 Richard Painter +3 Rob Liebbe +1 Lewis Tanner +1 Adam Ginsberg +1 Morgan Dawdy Bud Sharp +1 David Fincik Jeff Burch +1 ____________ 61 Thank You! jb This will be our biggest and best Texas AI/CMC Banquet to date!!! We'll be filling the room to capacity and so there will literally be "standing room only" (and likely no food) for anyone who has not RSVP'd above. In addition, if you want your dinner comp'd (that means "free" for those in Granbury), you've got to be on the list above. Chris Lyons, our AI/CMC treasurer will be keeping track of the attendees/expenditures and will have a full "treasurer's report" during the banquet. Also, remember your 2007 Texas AI/CMC Series fee of $20 is now due. These series dues will go toward putting on more great events like this one in the future. Since this evening will essentially be free for most thanks to the 2006 Series dues collected, monies raised and great sponsors like Argent Labs, this would be a great time to pay your $20 Series Dues if you plan on accumulating season points during the 2007 Texas region. I'm excited to announce that my dear friend, co-host and trophy presenter for the evening will be Michelle from E Models. E Models is a subsidiary of Integrated Entertainment Group (IEG). The E which stands for Exclusive, is based on the core group of girls that initially formed the E Models. Many of the E Models have been featured as an ESPN Game Day Girl, a Fear Factor Playmate, and also have modeled for some of the industry's top names including, Hugo Boss, Betsey Johnson, Stanley Korshak, and Kenneth Cole. Together with Michelle, Texas AI/CMC will spend the nite concentrating on fun, recognizing our 2006 racers, friends & families, fun, recognizing our 2006 season champions, fun, World Premiere of the 2006 Season Video and a little ribbing, roasting and karting...which should be fun. It's going to be a tight schedule so the Covini-Speak, Bitchin' and rules stuff will have to be at a bare minimum. So get there early to reserve your seat. Michelle and I will move thru the evening's agenda fast and we can discuss more afterwards at the bar or on the slick-track! See you there and if we have any final updates, Glenn, David, Al or I will post them here! Boy, is Al Fernandez gonna wish he was here for this one! -=- Todd Covini
Members Al F.
I'm speechless. I can say with complete certainty that Norcal has never had a banquet like this!

cmc38camaro
Now I'm jealous, The Northern California NASA awards banquet is in San Francisco and the trophy "girl" is likely to be a drag queen.
tacovini
EVENT IS RESCHEDULED!!! The Dallas weather is worsening as of noon today....original predictions of the Midwest Storm and ice conditions arriving @ midnight are now moving up to sundown tonight. Speedzone called and will not be holding any karting activities. All of the other groups Speedzone was to host this evening have rescheduled. They would prefer not to remain open for Texas AI/CMC and if we hold the event we would still be contractually bound by our contract. In the interest of safety for everyone the Banquet will be tentatively rescheduled for the weekend of our Round 1 at MSRH on Feb. 3rd and I'll look to have the same level of excitement planned. (Yes...you'll have to wait until then for the World Premiere Video!) Please pass on the word and let everyone know!!! Sorry guys...this really is a disappointment. Members Al F.
On the one hand, I am really bummed for you guys because I know the amount of planning and other work that went into setting something like this up. It would've been the benchmark for banquets. On the other hand, I am psyched since I'll be at the MSRH event and I still get to meet Michelle. She's still going right?
