Members Al F.
Just a few comments about the 1800 mile tow... - What in the hell is Pat doing driving a Lexus? - All of California east of Fontana is uphill. My suburban with the trailer behind it can only do 40-45mph uphill - New Mexico is so non-interesting the freeway signs name cities in other states along the same route. - When you finally get to Texas you realize you're only half way to your destination. - A plastic bag and some duct tape is a perfectly good substitute for trailer wheel bearing caps. White or silver duct tape, depending on your wheels, is much more conspicuous than bright orange. - In San Antonio, a car alarm and parking within 15 feet of a hotel lobby isnt enough to keep people from prying under your door handles with plyers, unlocking the door, and stealing two $80 headrest lcd screens and one (but not both) ipods in your center console - 35lbs is right about the size where dogs go from "pets welcome" to "ok, no one is in the hall now, go go go!"
