GT4Point6
Turned out to be great weather, unlike last year that threatened snow. Fast times, fast cars, fast track. Most of the cars were in the sub 1:59 range. Goods, You really get to see just how fast your car will go up to aero drag. Fifth gear WOT before the start finish all the way to the brake zone into turn 3. If you have a good 5th ratio, you can still pull on the banking on turns one and two. If you own a T-45, your stuck with a .68 and a pegged Speedo while the T-5 guys with better 5th ratio drive right by you while you're on the floor in 5th. Sucks.... Blocking at those speeds isn't nice! Bad Carson blew a hole in his Firebird block the size of a gallon milk jug. Good news is that it happened in a slow speed turn and not on the oval! Get-R-Done-Carson and we'll see you at T-Hill!! Charles blew his motor on the front straight but managed to keep all the parts inside his engine. Way to go Ford driver! JBA (“J†Bittle himself) and Andy Bowman (AI director) through a great dinner on Sat night! I couldn’t stop eating the tri-tip! Great times with great people! And of course, big thanks to Kyle for all of the help on grid as well as the Tri-tip! Man that was good stuff…….
