Any hotel recomendations for Willow Springs?

I live in Lancaster (near Willow Springs). I'd avoid anything in Rosamond. There are some decent Best Western/Motel 6 hotels just off CA-14 in Lancaster and Palmdale. The Essex House on 10th St West in Lancaster is a cool place and has long catered to racers and the local aerospace industry but it is a bit pricey (unless they can give you a NASA discount).

I'm staying in the Haulmark inn.

 

Try the Desert inn in Lancaster, I've stayed there before. Driving concepts instructors usually stay there.

This past Friday there was a gaggle of rally cars on trailers parked at the DI. Rim of the World Rally took place at the Lancaster Fairgrounds this weekend. One big Subaru festival

I pretty much stay at the Essex House (after a few less than perfect stays at other places nearby).
