Tony G
Folks, its my pleasure to announce that Todd Covini and myself will be part of your CMC officials at the Nationals. Todd will be running the on track show, as he will be the official CMC Race Director. I will be the CMC Series Director and will work with the chief tech inspector which consists of impound, knowledge of the rules, inspections etc, and then the chief inspector and myself will report to Todd Covini with any decisions that have been reached, which then Todd can hand down the results to the competitor if needed after he has reviewed them. This year will be very organized as last year was a building/learning year. I look forward to seeing you all out there, and working with Todd just like the old days. Thanks, Tony Guaglione CMC National Director Edited May 16, 2007 by Guest

GT4Point6
The guy who did it last year (non-CMC) didn't help us on some things. There was supposed to be penalties for not making the Wed PM MANDO driver meeting and when approached about those that didn't make it, he didn't penalize anyone. Not that big of a deal unless the only reason you showed up early is for the meeting. Some didn't plan on attending until Fri due to work/distance/cost/etc... Are you two going to be there for the Wed PM meeting? Assuming it's set up the same as last year.
tacovini
I've taken the whole week off of work and even the Mon/Tue afterwards. I'll be there early. Even though I won't be racing, I'll be looking for a little track time that Mon-Wed like I did last year to keep my head in the game. We'll work thru all of those things you mentioned. I saw some of the issues/questions/concerns from the guys last year, as did Tony, and I think we'll have a pretty good plan to work things thru from beginning to end this year. On a related note, You guys need to start getting a roster of who's going from Calif and other regions and reserve paddock space en masse. The Texas AI/CMC Corral is in the design stages now and it would be great to have you guys right down the paddock road!
