nasa-rm Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Here's the chance for some CMC folks to get a swipe at the RM racers again before Nationals. Doesn't look like it conflicts with any NASATX, AZ or CA dates - who's interested? We've got AZ racers coming for other classes. Pueblo seems to be a favorite of some of the Texas racers in the other club. What is the tow like from Dallas/Ft W? Our son just came back from Houston and is thrilled with the "cool/dry" weather we have here. Wife just got back from AZ - no comment... It looks like we'll be running a 1/2 sprint 1/2 enduro (ala SoCal) in the late afternoon from 4 or so till 6 which is included in the entry fee. Then, there will be an additional 2 hours of track time from 7-9pm going into the dark (open track session, not w2w). Quote

We're here as soon as Kyle is ready for the comp school. Somebody get this guy a suit!!! Here's the mapquest lowdown on Dallas to Pueblo: Total Est. Time: 11 hours, 14 minutes Total Est. Distance: 682.21 miles That's pretty much what we just did to MAM and when we trek to Hallett. Do I need to throw $$ in the kitty for a win on Sunday? $750 to win CMC if we get 10 cars. You're 1/2 way there.... (and no my car isn't ready yet). Put someone in Shaw's car and you only need 4 more. Quote

tacovini Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Awww...man! I wish I could make it!!! I'll be hard pressed to even make the August event in my own Houston backyard!!! Hope I can get the hooptie back in shape soon. How many California guys heard of Mike Kapp???? Man...that's a CMC name from the past!!! Glad to see some of the old school folk still hangin' in there!!! -=- Todd Quote
raybob92891548534723 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Todd, I was just on the phone with Mike Kapp. I have known him for years and he helped me build my first A-sedan Camaro. He'll be at Pueblo running his old 88 CMC Camaro in AI. Small world, I sure would hate to have to paint it! Quote

If you want, you guys figure out how to split it up. $400/$200/$150 ??? Give it all to 4th place (ever seen people try not to finish on the podium - it's pretty damn funny)? Come on, just a few more CMC cars to see 10. Quote
