supermac Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Man I would be there for sure if that Nick Steel dude wasn't going (and if it wasn't a gozillion miles away) I was just counting all of the yellow paint and yellow dents on my car. I Just can't risk any more! Quote
Tony G Posted October 9, 2007 Author Posted October 9, 2007 Now you know what I have to go thru every freakin race over here. I'm going to duct tape that entire car before it hits the track. Has Nick ever told you that for some funny reason, even if we start 20 cars way from each other, that we always seem to finish right next to each other..Hmm.. I'm going to have to take extra caution this weekend...better yet I'm going to drive even faster than usual so I never see him...yeah thats it... Tony Guaglione Quote
jeffburch Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Man I would be there for sure if that Nick Steel dude wasn't going (and if it wasn't a gozillion miles away) I was just counting all of the yellow paint and yellow dents on my car. I Just can't risk any more! Mine buffed right out. Looked like I grazed a pole at the Mickey D's drive-thru. jb Quote
nasa-rm Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 That's great seeing Karen on the enrty list!! Quote
supermac Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Tony-great plan, let me know how that works out for you. Jeff-if you grazed the pole then I must have taken out the whole kiddie playland including Ronald himself. Quote
NickS Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Man, my car looks like it was given a beat down by you and Glenn! There's blue paint all down the left side of the car, silver all over the right side from getting sandwiched on the start. Then there's lots of silver paint and scrape marks on the back bumper from Glenn "helping" me down the straight into the keyhole after Sunday's start! I'm going to leave the silver on the car for this weekend. That way it'll be harder to tell where Tony's car rubbed up on mine We are adding a new sticker to the car just to give everyone behind me fair warning... CAUTION STAY BACK 50 FEET FALLING DEBRIS HAZZARD - Nick Quote
Glenn Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 i'll take the fault for the stuff on the rear. who knew you were gonna brake at the 2 cone. as for the sandwitch stuff, i had no idea Cody was over there and i swear i never moved. have fun guys and gals. i hope to be there w/ you all next summer. Tony G Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 Should have 4 CMC 2 cars, and 17 CMC cars. Tony Guaglione Quote
Pat Stone1548534713 Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I have some very good video of that start from the third row. I was feeling real good about it until turn five. I'll bring the tape and maybe we can watch it at round table. That must have been my problem, I was trying to be too careful and not scratch my car and instead ended up with a dent. Next time I'll just rub my way in, instead of waiting. ps Quote
tacovini Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Pat does have great video of the Camaro sandwich!!! Pat I watched the vid last weekend and some great driving! You were in the thick of things for a few laps there and it was your podium to hand away! You definately had a battle on your hands lap after lap. I'll send you a PM. -=- T PS- With Pat's approval, I can bring his vid to Houston at our season finale'. Quote
tacovini Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Better have a VHS player if you want to see it! Quote
