Which is also available from the Finish Line Productions website at: http://www.finishlineprod.net/2007_cmc_dvd/2007_cmc_dvd_index.htm The DVD is a great opportunity for you left coast drivers to check out how it's done in the best NASA region! jeffburch
That makes sense. They need their own because no one made it to the big show in September jb

King Matt1548534716
I knew they had a good group last year, but it looks to have really grown in 2007. Great job by Kent and NASA-MA. But where was everyone at the Nationals?
Tri-Agan
But where was everyone at the Nationals? We were all at my house having a cookout and listening to the race on the net. It was much cheaper. Maybe next year a few of the fella's will decide to go. Kent
Adam Ginsberg
And we thought TX was a country unto it's own..... Come on, Kent.....more of your guys need to come to the big show. What gives???
Tri-Agan
With a dozen more drivers starting next year the fella's figure that it's more fun racing here with 36 cars rather than going to Nationals and taking a week off from work and spending 10 times as much. For most of us here it's just a hobby and we try to keep it as cheap as possible. I can't go because I make 35% of my yearly income in the months of Sept and Oct. Additionally, and to be frank, the other issue is that I would have to blow off regional races in order to spend many weekends testing car setups at the track. With so many drivers out here, it would be silly to blow off 3 regional races to test at Mid-Ohio. I may be different than most, I wouldn't even show up for the event unless I thought I was ready to win it all. As they know out here, I don't show up for a gunfight with 5 bullets in the 6 shooter. Adam...you should come to VIR in February......30+ cars & VIR long course it awesome. I am trying to get Tony to come out for it and split time in my car. Finishline Productions
Here are some possible reasons why more CMC MA drivers didn't show up at nationals: 1. Chris Cobetto banned the CMC drivers from going to nationals in fear of them tarnishing the good reputation of the NASA Mid Atlantic Chapter. 2. Kent, as the ruthless CMC MA dictator, told all the drivers that if he doesn't go...nobody goes! 3. None of the CMC MA drivers could afford to go because of the excessive dues Kent makes them all pay so he can buy "TopDawg" trophies for himself. tacovini
We had no idea there was a "closet region" in the CMC camp!!! Wow...nice job! Howsabout a preview of the DVD?!? You guys can't tease us like that and show car count and DVD links with nothing but credit card information forms to see and fill out! Geez...if the internet porn industry ever got a hold of these tactics, they'd make a fortune!!! -=- Todd PS- Texas is still the center of CMC racing. Looks like we may have to send a Texas posse over to claim some foreign podiums spots under the journey direction of Ginsberg!
jeffburch
Naaa, they've had their chance twice at Ohio. Those pussies can meet my posse at Road Atlanta. 1st light. Bring all 6. jb

Tri-Agan
Those pussies can meet my posse at Road Atlanta Good idea Jeff, you would probably need one. Thanks Chris for posting the teaser clip. very funny!!!! If they want to see the remaining 2.5 hours they will have to buy a DVD. By the way......it takes Chris & Finishline Productions over 100+ hours to collect, clip, and assemble the video and music for the East-CMC DVD. The DVD is not for profit, the cost is just the donation to cover the time he spends. I am sure he would be willing to do one for other regions if they helped out collecting and clipping the video's ahead of time. I hope to see everyone at one of the East events this year. We have a great group out here. Kent
ron12
Those were the best damn hot dogs I've ever had. I'll tell ya, when Kent puts on his apron and chef hat they come a runnin from miles around. The beer selection was rather minimal, but hey its Yengling (which is a really cheap beer that taste good if you have a hot dog budget) and plenty of it. Next year if I ever get out of the ghetto I will host the Mid-Atlantic region party and we can listen to the race in Stereo Surround Sound. Adam Ginsberg
Kent - we were interested in why your guys don't show...not you. j/k VIR in February.....same haul from my house to Alton VA as it is to Mid-O, so it's tempting. But....VA in Feb? Snow racing, anyone??? What's MA schedule for 2008, Kent?? VIR has been on my list of "gotta race" tracks since I was there in 2003. BTW - that clip was great. With all you guys going off course, does anyone race on pavement out there??
ron12
Hi, I am a bottom feeder (slow driver) in the Mid-Atlantic region and was thinking about heading to Road Atlanta in March. Can one of you bad ass Texas drivers show me the line if I go. It looks like a great track.

Can one of you bad ass Texas drivers show me the line if I go. It looks like a great track. Even if one of us Texans don't make it, make the trek to Road Atlanta - you won't regret it. As for the line....it's easy....gas, turn right, turn left, turn right, turn left, go straight, turn left, turn right, turn right, lots of gas, turn left, turn right, turn right, turn right. Good? ddteman1548534717
That was some good video of the MA-NASA Rally drivers but what happen to the CMC racer??? Don't they race on Asphalt?? I guess after I told them about all the gravel traps at Mid Ohio they didn't want to show up in fear of getting stuck. I think Kent is so used to winning he got a little scared to try any new competition. You would think the four time MA Champion would man up and represent. Over half the CMC racers had never seen Mid Ohio before that 1st Nationals but it didn't stop them from showing up. Your running out of excuses KENT!!!! ron12
Adam, Earlier in the year all I saw was post about the Texas guys galloping over the south guys at Road Atlanta. Well I am making the 14 hour trip to check it out. Its a shame you guys cant back up your previous post. It would be pretty embarrassing to be shown up by a bottom feeder from the Mid-Atlantic. Actually I hope you guys can make it, it would be a blast to behind someone other than Kent.
