Lady in Nomex
Just got off the phone with Angela at Toyo to see what happened to my Toyo bucks from the last race...turns out they were not sent with the race results so she could not process them. She said quite a few of us were not sending in the race results along with the Toyo form as required to get Toyo bucks and she is not going to process these in the future without them. Just a heads up! Have a great season in 2008 everyone!
AllZWay
Another heads up... Don't send them in a few days too late either... they won't process them. Ask me how I know...
Glenn
My Laps printouts are considered official. and the day that stuff is posted is considered the day the race results are made official. as a co-director of the TX region, i never sign my own forms. i send eveything to another director w/ a postage paid envelope addressed to Toyo included. the person signs them and just drops them in the mail. or what i used to do was bring forms to the track, fill them out AFTER each race and get a printout of the race results from T&S and have them signed as official by the race director or a class director. the important thing is to collect this money. i collected over $3500 in cash and Toyo Dollars form Toyo Tires in 2007. if it was not for that, i would have most likely not been able to race as much as i have. Thank You Toyo!
Keith
Correction - Race results printed out from the day of the race can be OK (but not recommended). A race, according to the CCR, is not official until 30 days after it is run. The reason for this is that there needs to be a timeframe for any potential protests to take their course. When I was CMC Coordinator, this seemed silly since we had a dyno at our races but I did not send in the Toyo forms until 30 days after the race. As far as I know, everyone always got their bux on my watch...
