Tony G Posted January 8, 2009 Share Posted January 8, 2009 Ok, so if your getting stir crazy I thought I would mention that you have 4-5 more weeks to get ready for our first event of the year at the awesome Infineon raceway. This is also a crossover event for the S. Cal region so I would expect this to be a nice showing (lets hope its nice and dry). I'll be in CMC2 this year with my new Mustang that I tested at the end of last year. It would be great to have you make it since I think it would be a good idea for all of us to get together and see where we all sit with the new schedule for 2009 and the split regions, since I have had several calls about who is going where and when. Friday is always a good time to look at cars also as we should be there around 4pm or so. Our Red Line Deal is dead for 2009 (economy ). Toyo is still the real deal. I got a case of 5w30 and when I cut the tape to open last weekend, it was half 5w30 and half 10w40. Not complaining by any means. Free Redline was GREAT!!! Why can't our race group be on a normal schedule like all the others? A 20-minute race and no qualifying is weak. If you have to be home early, or are scared to drive at night then stay home.
