Early races are fine, as long as, we get a qualifying lap and a "fat" race each day. Therfore, I am lobbying for 40-minute races. One twenty minute race is weak. I don't want to have an "ice-cream social", I want to race. Rumor has it that Tony G. has some pull with the decision makers @ NASA, therefore, that's the reason why I am posting here. Holster Maker Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 What really happen was some fans, yes specators, checked the schedule and arrived to watch the race that was already over, real over, like in the morning. Some complained to NASA Jerry, I don't blame them. true story! I'll have to agree with this normal schedule, an afternoon race should be the main event, not some early morning session. I think there may have been some confusion about the Sun AM race... like Tony is sharing... the 'real' Sunday 'Main Event' has 'Always been after the lunch break. On a personal note there are those of us that have to work very early in the morning on Monday...like 3A.M...and I wouldn't be able to do the last race at Infineon or T'Hill if the race gets over at 4:00 or so like this schedule. Sunday would be a bust for me. A warm up and one race...pointless. I'm all for the early race on Sunday. (With all due respect).
