Tony G Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Ok, so I have been blasted with emails and calls the last few months and for very good reason. I can tell you that NASA has been working on this tire situation with Toyo for countless hours and there will be a announcement coming in the next week or two. Thanks for all the comments it was great feedback for me to send to national and they took it with everything else they had and now have a very good program coming for you all. Please don't ask anyone anything as nothing is 100% done quite yet, but when it is you will be the first to know. I ask for just a little more patience, remember NASA is on your side and so am I. liebbe1548534713 Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Just a comment/question about Toyo Bucks that may expire while we are waiting on a decision. Tire that I buy now will be used into next year. I don't want to buy tires now, but need to before an August 1st event. If someone has Toyo Bucks that expire while a decision is being made, is there a possibility of an extension on the expiration date? Tony, please forward this on to th rest of the necessary decision makers. Quote

Glenn Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 better yet, allow the R888 to be used as a wet tire for next year. Quote
mitchntx1548534714 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 If both tires are allowed, then the process of natural selection will weed out the 888s and folks that already have them can use them as they need to whether it be by climate or budget. Quote

liebbe1548534713 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I agree with Mitch and Glenn, natural selection is the way to go. I also agree because I have an almost new set of 888's that I would like to use as rains into next year. Quote
Glenn Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 i've got a new set of R888's that have never even been mounted. i would like Toyo to take them back in trade for RA1's........ if we go back to RA1's. Quote
