Anti-Venom
I understand that the reason Hydraulic flat tappet cam's are selected was probably to help keep things cheaper than buying a roller cam. However, just a suggestion but the 305 came both factory roller (LO3 & LB9) and non-roller (LU5 & LG9). Seems that the factory roller guys would have to buy cam, lifters, chain, and pushrods just to switch to the oldschool hydraulic flat tappet spec cam. Seems like it would make sense to have a comparable, equal power producing roller cam that could be used as well. It would keep cost's down as you can reuse the factory roller lifters on different cam's. Sorry to start a first post with nit-picking the rules. I'm am hoping to get my Formula converted to manual with a TKO and doing some HPDE here in the near future and may possibly be helping someone with a CMC f-body build. Should be an awesome CMC car! Had an '89 Formula 350 myself at one time.

Anti-Venom
Formula 89. Are you going to go to the Gingerman Event?? Putnam Park??Check your in box. I have PMed you. I think you may have PM'd the wrong person, I haven't received anything from you. I sure would like to make it to at least spectate or volunteer but am unsure yet if I would be able to. Sept is going to be a busy month for me.
Anti-Venom
Just renewed my membership. Looks like I'm going to make it out to Putnam park in Oct to spectate/ hopefully volunteer and earn some seat time for next year and meet everyone. Trying to get the car back together in running shape this winter. Slightly bent drivers axle had finaly taken out the drivers side wheel bearing and has been making some nice clunking noises. Just received a new chromoly Spohn del-sphere panhard rod and some ARP wheel stud's. Still need to get it apart to see what spline axles are in there as '89 had both spline counts. Just need to find the time to work on it now.
