TC MOTORSPORTS SIGNS ANDREW CADDELL FOR 25 HOURS OF THUNDERHILL

Federal Way, WA—TC Motorsports announced today that 17 year old Andrew Caddell has signed on to drive the #23 TC Motorsports/Group 2 Motorsport/Applied Racing Technology/eprodius.com Mazda Miata at the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill.

Caddell, who is sponsored by Pinnacle Mazda, is an accomplished young racing driver. Since his start in 1997 he has won championships, poles, and track records in everything from shifter karts to Bandoleros, Legends, and Spec Miatas, with his latest achievement the 2005 NW Region SCCA Spec Miata Series Championship. The 25 Hours of Thunderhill will be Andrew’s first venture into endurance racing; however, both he and the team are looking forward to this demanding, long distance race.

The complete driver line-up has been set for the #23 car with team principals Carlo Sparacio and Taryn Sparacio, Spec Miata and stock car veteran Will Schrader, and Andrew Caddell sharing the driving duties.

This will be TC Motorsports’ second trip to the 25 Hours of Thunderhill, which is held at the challenging Thunderhill Raceway Park circuit in Willows, California on December 3 and 4, 2005. TC Motorsports had a very successful run at last year’s 25 Hours of Thunderhill, with a third place finish in the highly competitive E2 class and 11th overall of 59 teams.

During the race, the team is expected to cover a distance of nearly 2,000 miles, make 16 pit stops for fuel, tires, and driver changes, and use approximately 200 gallons of fuel. The challenging road racing circuit at Thunderhill twists and turns over the rolling hills of Northern California and 14 hours of the event will be in the early winter darkness.

The NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by the U.S. Air Force is considered the most extreme and severe endurance race on the planet. Professional teams from around the world gather for this event to claim the title of finishing and winning “The 25.” More information about the 25 Hours of Thunderhill is available at http://www.nasa25hour.com.
