lee33lyn Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Hey, I'm stripping my car down to install roll cage. I just took off my fog lights ( sold them on LS1 ) and wondered about the importance of the plastic stuff in the front of the wheels in the front bumper area. There is alot of plastic boxing and panels. Also, how about the inner plastic fender wheels. I don't think this stuff is important but I don't want to find out the hard way. Don't want to disrupt cooling or underhood pressure. thanks Quote
Glenn Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 lots of guys say to keep the fender liners. i havent. i would keep the plastic behind and under the nose. helps the nose keep its shape. Quote
cmc35 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I kept the fender liners on my Mustang SN95. The weight is almost irrelevant, and they keep rocks, etc out of things. -chris Quote
