roadracerwhite
Got the shifter plate area all fixed up now. Going to get one of these for a shift boot I think; Tired of the cheap ass mr gasket one. The design of this thing hasn't changed from the 70's. roadracerwhite
Installed the subframe connectors last week. Painted the underside today. It is grey, ford tractor grey to be exact. It looks white, not really what I wanted but too late now. It will work. Next up the interior. Bryan

roadracerwhite
Here is where I am at as of today; I finished the plumbing today, should have been done yesterday, but had some fitting issues. Not all of the aircraft fittings are made the same. I had good luck with earls and aeroquip. The frangnolia fittings were giving me problems though. Could not get the male protion of the fitting to go inside of the hose and it kept pushing the hose back out causing the end to fray out and me having to recut it. Then the line was too short. It was an 11 year old line anyway, but it was still irritating. I plan to have it running by the end of the week and then the focus will be on getting it painted. It won't make Putnam, but I will be there. It will make Gingerman. Bryan

roadracerwhite
Finally was able to hit the track with it. Had some electrical issues most of the weekend, but all in all I was pretty happy with it. Many thanks to Kent, the Bains, and the rest of the CMC crowd on Friday for helping me get it finished on time. Many thanks to Bob Denton as well for helping me get it painted, without his help I would be still without paint I am sure. Here are a couple pictures;

D Algozine
Bryan, Car looks awesome. Great job. Orbit orange, looks very similar to Hugger orange. My wife has a very similar color scheme for her car. Darla saw the photos on facebook, and loves your car
FBody383
Orange is Fast! Bryan, don't let Balingit get anywhere near it. This is Hugger Orange. Not the original paint but an original 72/27 color code car.
