It was fun to watch from the timing and scoring building. Thanks, it was nerve wracking in the car. I was convinced I'd throw it away somehow and I almost did when Shawn passed me going into 1. I can't wait for the mylaps data to see how consistent I was up to that point. Could you see me waving my fist every time I crossed the line? You have to remind yourself to relax and focus, which can sometimes be as useful telling yourself you need some sleep when your staring at the alarm clock at 3AM and you have to be up at 6AM for work. It helps if you have a positive reinforcement phrase like "smooth is fast", or something else that works for you to fall back on when things get exciting.
