fisch405
Hey guys, I am new to NASA and am planning to compete next season in CMC. AM mid-way through my build and have a question. DO most of you run adjustable or fixed rear control arms? If you use adjustable, do you put them to the max length and just weld them solid then? Thanks, Ryan
roadracerwhite
Most have adjustable rear control arms and tack weld the nuts to the arm. Bryan Are you planning on running in the Midwest region events or Central? Or a mix of both?
fisch405
Do you simply put them to the maximum length allowed by the rules or what factors do you use to determine the length you are looking for? I will be running in the midwest region.
Den341548534727
I would set them at 19.25 inches. The tolerance is .125 inches and I would hate to get DQ on something like this. Measuring in the tech shed can be sketchy at times so I would want to be in the center of the range. Especially trying to measure the center of a rod end. roadracerwhite
I stuck mine in my stock control arms and put a bolt through it and adjusted it till it was the same. I think I also measured it then too. Bryan
Members Al F.
I'm with Bob on this...no reason to risk a DQ for this.
