2005 Z51 40,000 mile Chassis with Z06 Engine, Transmission, differential and bodywork.

Can be raced as SCCA T1, T2 or GT2. NASA ST1, ST2, ST3, TT1, TT2, TT3. Also SVRA, CVAR, HPDE, NCCC, PDX or track days.

Looks and sounds great on track, gets lots of compliments and is fast and easy to drive with neutral handling. Weighs about 3000 pounds empty and could easily be made lighter.

BODY: Complete factory Z06 body including font bumper, GM carbon fiber front fenders and GM inner fenders, GM quarter panels and bolt on GM roof panel. Also includes Grand Sport front fenders painted to match.

ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN: 500 RWHP LS7 427 with Diamond forged flat top pistons, GM Titanium rods, heads have updated valve guides and competition valve job. Balanced and blueprinted. Crank cut for external dry sump pump. All machine work done by LME Late Model Engines of Houston, TX. Bullet cam with stock lift and longer duration. Manley pushrods and Comp Cams rocker trunnions. Kooks headers, three inch X-pipe and full length stainless straight exhaust with no mufflers and rotatable turndowns. Aviaid three stage dry sump system with Z06 tank and Aviaid baffle, ATI balancer, full Aeroquip and oil cooler. DeWitts all aluminum radiator. Hinson polyurethane motor mounts and solid aluminum driveshaft couplers. Spec clutch with Tilton master cylinder, Monster release bearing support and remote bleeder. TR6060 Z06 transmission and Z06 differential with rear-mounted oil coolers and fan. Original instrument panel plus Autometer gauges added. Optima battery. K&N air filters.

SUSPENSION: Full Z06 brakes with front aluminum hats, Wilwood curved vane rotors, braided lines and Hawk D70 front/D60 rear pads. GM T1 suspension kit with bushings upgraded to Phoenix Delrin, shocks upgraded to Penske 8100 triple adjustable remote reservoir. GM T1 sway bars. GM T1 transverse composite springs currently installed and coil over springs and hardware included. Z06 magnesium front engine/suspension cradle and Pfadt camber kit. Custom brake ducts on front and stock Z06 ducts on rear. ForgeStar 18x11 and 18x13 wheels and Finspeed 18x11 and 18x13 wheels. Hoosier new R7 and used R7 (one heat cycle) and used A7 315 and 345 tires. LG “Trackbox” disables traction control.

ABS, antilock brakes DO NOT WORK! WILL NEED TO BE REPAIRED OR CONVERTED TO ADJUSTABLE BIAS SYSTEM BEFORE DRIVING IN COMPETITION. FRONTS LOCK PREMATURELY.

SAFETY: Full SCCA/NASA legal roll cage, side bars extend into doors, side windows removed, large ISP racing seat with Kirkey shoulder supports and 1/8” steel butt protector. Can accommodate drivers over six feet tall, 40 inch waist and 225 pounds, or more with adjustments. RaceQuip HANS friendly harness, ESS AAF on board fire system, Allstar widow net and Safecraft right side net. Detachable leather steering wheel. Right floor reinforced, drilled and tapped for ballast. Battery in right rear with extra retaining strap. Front and rear tow hooks.

OTHER: Will be sold with bill of sale and salvage title paperwork. Right front frame was pulled to straighten a minor bend but had no kinks or cracks. Every suspension part, steering rack and both cradles have been replaced with Phoenix, Penske, Z06 or GM T1 components. It could have been aligned with shims, but I wanted it straight. Total frame bill was $1100 including $264 in cosmetic repair. If you know what frame work costs that indicates that this was a very minor repair. Alignment and tire wear have never been a problem. Frame work was done by Richey Collision, the best Corvette body shop in Houston. Frame data sheet available. Left side headlight, wiring and windshield washer are missing some connectors. No transponder.

ALSO INCLUDED: Original LS2 engine set up for dry sump, Z51 T56 transmission, 3.42 Z51 rear end all in good condition and torque tube (disassembled). TR6060 Grand Sport transmission (rebuildable) and junk T56 Z06 transmission.  Complete set of 2005 and 2010 paper factory manuals. Car cover.

New parts: One set of four sticker Hoosier R7 345 and 315 tires. Wilwood front rotors, Stoptech front rotors, two sets each Hawk DTC 70 front and DTC 60 rear brake pads, GM front brake ducts, stock clutch master cylinder, tie rods, dry sump belts, engine sensors and K&N air filter.

Used parts: Rear suspension cradle, Grand Sport front fenders, rear hatch and rear bumper and right headlight. Boxes of parts including ECM, BCM, MAF, ABS module, water pump, motor mounts, valve covers, hoses, belts, CV drive axles, Hawk pads, four Koni yellow shocks, stock control arms, Hoosier A7’s, Mantic aluminum flywheel, LS3 and LS7 air filter housings and miscellaneous small parts. More parts than I have listed are included.
