I’m eating the freight costs, the mounting and balancing, AND I’m knocking another 20% off the cost. Set of four 949 Racing 6UL Max Legal Spec Miata Gen 4 wheels Beryllium 15x7’s with Sticker Toyo RR’s mounted, balanced, and ready to go. The Toyo RR 205/50/15 is the spec tire for NASA Spec Miata Racing. They are also great for hpde and track days. The RR lasts much longer than Hoosier SM7. The RR also does not heatcycle as bad. I’ve been very competitive on over 20 heatcycle RR’s right down to the cords. No way you can do that on a Hoosier. The wheels are $124 each from 949 (not even currently available) plus freight. The RR tires are $188 at both Tire Rack and Phil’s Tire plus freight and tax. That’s $1248 (before freight and sales tax) minus a 20% discount and that comes to $998.40.
