Oil/PS Lines in Cockpit

Recommended Posts

I  have to run some dry sump oil lines and PS lines in the cockpit of my E46 M3 ST3 racecar.  Rule 15.14 says that such lines must be "metal or steel braided or reinforced."  I plan on running XRP PS hose, which is comprised of "synthetic rubber tube, polyester inner braid with single wire braid reinforcement and polyester braid cover."  For the dry sump hose, I plan on running XRP, which is PTFE with a 316 stainless helical support wire and a silicone outerbraid.  By my lights, each of these types of hoses fall within the scope of "reinforced" lines within the meaning of Rule 15.14.  Can anyone confirm my interpretation or let me know with whom in NASA technical I should confirm my interpretation?  Thanks.
