Can I Drive in HPDE 2 with my coach in the passenger seat? seat?

Recommended Posts

I have signed up for HPDE with NASA at Sonoma Raceway on October 26, 2019. I'd like for my driving coach to review and improve my line. Does NASA allow for in-car instruction from a private coach?

Yes, if signed off by the HPDE2 director. CCR section 4.5.

Brett:
Thanks so much for replying to my forum question by advising me to get signed off by the HPDE2 director.

Do you have the link to the NASA CCR section 4.5?

How can I contact the HPDE2 director?

Thanks in advance,

Larry

I don't have a link specifically for that section because it's an online PDF. Here's the link to the NASA CCR. Just scroll down to 4.5.

You'll need to contact the Regional Director, who can put you in touch with whoever is in charge of HPDE1/2. It's usually the same person. I don't know what region you're in. There's a full listing of the regions and directors with websites and emails here:
