National Staff Greg G. Posted September 26, 2021 Author National Staff Posted September 26, 2021 Turns out that it gets a bit complicated because of all of the options in WinPep8. We had to play with the Dyno operator's computer at Daytona for it to spit out the correct data files. Roman will update us on whether he can come up with some instructions that our competitors can use on their own WinPep8 programs to export the correct data files. Otherwise, the printed out exports can always be used to manually calculate the Avg HP numbers. Quote
Wade L Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Can you add a link to a sample input file that works for the calculator? The WinPEP7 instructions aren't right and I can't figure out exactly what the calculator is looking for. Quote

Jim Shepard Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 There was a change not long ago to the average HP calc method. Is the online calculator up to date? Quote

I recall the instructions for winpep7 don't specify changing the graph to display rpm instead of speed before export. The default was speed. Quote

It is clear in the video. I don't see a DM from you. Quote
