We purchased an NA spec miata and are working on bringing it back to whatever is required to pass tech. My question is- can it be tech'd at the event? Do I need (or should I get) an annual tech at one of the listed locations in my region- Florida? It looks like we'd only make the Sept Roebling event, so I don't know if an annual is necessary, or even different from teching at the event. Obviously it would save 4 hours of driving if we make sure it's legal before hand, but the local places are still an hour-plus away. Also- what exactly are the TT events? Are they door-to-door racing and a step above TREC, or more of a step between HPDE and TREC? I guess I'm asking "what is the format".
