Posted May 21, 2020 National Staff Share Posted May 21, 2020 As long as they are not "old" and cracking in the sidewalls, most of us would probably run them either to the cords or just barely to the cords. We often don't with R compound tires just because many of them lose so much time after too many heat cycles that they are not competitive.
