zuperdave
Seeking a little clarification on door treatment. The way I read it, if I remove the glass, hardware, and/or interior panel, that's a total of +1 for each door, even if I completely strip the door. Not +3: +1 for the glass +1 for the mechanism +1 for the panel... Headliner, carpet, and rear interior panels (doors or otherwise) are assessed separately. Is that correct? Thanks
National Staff Greg G. Posted January 10, 2006 National Staff Share Posted January 10, 2006 Correct--gut one door for +1 point.
Eric J.
And it's also +1 just for removing the interior panel, correct? If so, then I guess the lesson is don't piddle around with lightening the doors.

It would be too much of a hassle to start breaking it down to +0.2 door handle, +0.2 lock mechanism, etc...........
