Ivanxu
I modified my Porsche Panamera 970 by myself and share the installation process in the following content, including some details need to pay attention, how to choose the product, knowledge about wheel spacers. First of all, I am not a advertiser and what I learned was from the Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmvSUJdypzg I am not supported by anyone and I just shared the process but not comment it’s good or bad because I like to do that. So welcome your friendly comment. In the material, I found two materials are common and many people choose one of them. 7075-T6 and 6061-T6, forged aluminum alloy, I chose 7075-T6 because the quality will better than 6061-T6, also the wheel extended bolts I choose are the same brand, because the brand carve the logo on the product. The wheel extended bolts are 12.9 grade SCM440 material. I chose bonoss company’s forged lightweight plus wheel spacers. For the front wheel, I chose 7mm. Meanwhile, for the rear wheel I chose 15mm. It’s up to yourself, different sizes are ok. Lift up the car with jack, remove the wheel bolts and uses rust remover and abrasive paper to clean up the wheel hub to make sure the wheel spacers fit perfectly. Before I install the wheel bolts back, use a bolt to hang up the wheel and it will make the installation easier. Remember to install and remove the wheel bolts or wheel lug nuts diagonally because it force uniform. As a example of Porsche Panamera 970, the recommended torque is 140Nm. The contrast pictures: After installation, something will change so I will check my car regularly. Thanks for the guys who read this passage. DonnaWatson
Hey, Ivanxu. How's it going? Have you installed it successfully? I've heard of these spacers. My friend from Scrooz installed the same ones. As far as I remember, he installed them about 2 years ago. He's still happy about his choice. I hope you're glad about your wheel spacers too. Actually, we became friends when he helped me choose these screws https://www.scrooz.com.au/screws/roofing-screws/. I had to buy some roofing screws. Eventually, he helped me finish repairing my roof. Anyway, Ivanxu, keep us updated. Waiting for your reply.
