Piersin
What tires are you running for TT? I have the Dunlop SP Race R comps now? Will I gain much if I go to Michelin Pilot Sports? I know the hoosiers will be faster but I have to drive to the track. How many days can I get out of the hoosiers before they are slower than regular R comps. Red Tornado
Toyo RA1's are the best I have found for dual purpose. Expect to be 1-2 seconds quicker than street tires but 1-2 seconds slower than hoosiers.

loudes13
How many weekends do you get out of the Hoosiers before they are slower than regular Rs? depends on the car, weight, how hard you're pushing, how abbrasive the track is, how their stored between events, etc. 10-20 heat cycles or 2 weekends and they start to slow down. How much depends on the other variables... If you're starting out get ra1's or victoracers. Competive guys go thruough multple sets anyway.
