What time do the races usually start?

I know this is a loaded question and it depends on the event/track location.

I've already submitted the question on the hpde/nasa site, but haven't heard anything back.

 

I've got a race on Oct 24th in Bowling Green KY at the Corvette museum.  I've got ~5hr drive and I'd like to know what time the actual event starts, so if I need to book a hotel the night before, I can get one sooner rather than later.

Go to the below link, click on Schedule.  Last years NCM Schedule will pop up, since the 2021 Schedule doesn't usually get posted till about a week before the event.  The 2020 schedule will give you an idea of when things begin, with the HPDE Tech being first and then the HPDE Meetings.  Since things begin so early in the mornings. most arrive night/day before.

For a 5-hour drive, I would definitely NOT leave at 1am the night before. A hotel is a must.
