NASA Spec3! An affordable, growing class!

Recommended Posts

Hello all!

NASA Spec3 is a spec series for the E36 325i and 325is models. The average build cost is between $15,000 and $17,000 depending on how fancy your safety gear is and what you pay for your donor car. We have 15+ Racers in the Mid Atlantic region with a healthy field of NEW racers coming up in the Southeast region for 2022 and lots of interest elsewhere. By my count, we have 15 or more new builds in progress on the east coast, some interest in Texas, and some on the west coast.

I'm just here to make sure everyone is aware of this great class and send some helpful links for anyone interested in joining us! We are especially interested in folks who are interested in jump starting the class in their region. The affordability and accessibility of these cars make it pretty easy to start the class in a region, and once you have 2-3 folks agreeing to build/buy a car, the rest will come. The class sells itself once there are cars on track.
