V8cobra99 Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Maximum Motorsports Adds Second Contingency Program For AI And AIX Report by John Lindsey NASA 2-22-2006 SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. - Maximum Motorsports will expand its NASA contingency-awards program in both the American Iron and American Iron Extreme classes in 2006. New this year is a second contingency-prize program for AI and AIX racers participating in NASA's National Championships event at Mid-Ohio, in September. MM-equipped contestants finishing first through fourth will earn amounts that increase with the number of MM products used. A class winner will receive a minimum of $500, and up to $1,100. These National Championships prizes are in addition to normal MM contingency awards posted in specified NASA regions. Last season, MM awarded more than $6,000 in contingency cash to 13 winning drivers in NASA's American Iron and American Iron Extreme classes. Among them were four regional AI or AIX champions, plus six runners-up. Eligibility for these NASA contingency programs is not automatic. To learn how to qualify for MM awards, visit http://www.maximummotorsports.com, call (805)544-8748, or contact NASA. More detail is also available on the contingency section of http://www.americanironracing.com. Quote
