billpennock
Ok I've heard about all these 944's in nor cal. Who's gonna be at Infineon? I'm going to the SCCA race the weekend before but I got rained out on the first regional at Sears and am itching to get on that track again, preferably in the dry. So, anyone coming to Laguna or going to Sears late april?
Tim Comeau
I'll tell ya.......I'd love to go to Sear's Point. Be even better to race with some of my NorCal 944 buddies! Your group is growing pretty well up there, Bill.
genikz
Or, anybody for Laguna Seca in September?? I'm considering HPDE, since the car will be no where near ready for 944 Spec racing. I've always wanted to drive that track.
Tom #16
I'm signed up for Infineon next week. It'll be my first time there. It's been a long while since I've had to learn a new track. Is Infineon difficult?
billpennock
Infineon/sears is busy. Don't know about difficult although I suppose it might be called that. It's busy all the time though. Most all the Norcal folks I know that go to THill Sears and Laguna in rotation like Sears the best. I have also heard from long time racers that if you can do Sears you can do anything. It's a great track!
944-Spec#94
Sears point is on my list of "Must Do tracks". Maybe not this year, but I will do it sometime.
Tim Comeau
Bill, If you're checking in with the forum, please talk the class up while you're at Sear's Point. I still can't get used to calling it Infinity, or whatever....
