marshallmosty Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Is it possible? Griggs says no, but the MM K-member fits 79-95. I just don't want to get into anything that I cannot complete Quote
V8cobra99 Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Anything is possible... if you want to engineer it..... If Griggs themselves did not recommend it, its probably not good to do...... Quote
marshallmosty Posted July 15, 2006 Author Posted July 15, 2006 I just wasn't sure if they were just trying to make it sound so unreasonable that I would cough up the money for a new K-member... I guess I'll probably pass on the "opportunity"... Quote
pederb Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Why not call Bruce or John, they would be happy to answer your question Quote
marshallmosty Posted July 23, 2006 Author Posted July 23, 2006 I talked to John, Apparently the mounting pads are too small to "stretch" for a FOX. I guess MM makes an extra large pad to accomodate both designs with one part. Also, on the Griggs design, the motor is already setback 0.75" on the SN95 cars, and the K-member would give an additional 0.75". 1.5" total setback would put the bellhousing into the firewall (no bueno!)
