1990 SPEC MIATA ready to race! Please call 510-334-8655 IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS

This is a great car built by 2020 Motorsports. Very low race milage. In 2005 it run at the SCCA Laguna Seca season opener (April 2-3, 2005), where it placed 13th out of 54. In Oct. 2005 I raced it with NASA at Thunderhill and came in 2nd place out of 10 cars as a novice racer. And then I ran 1 practice day at Thunderhill in in Nov. 2005. Since I got the car it has only been 3 track days and less than 4 hours of track time. It has been always car covered and garaged!

The car is perfect for taller and sized drivers as the as the seat is mounted to the floor, and the cage was constructed by Tony Colicchio at TC Design to maximize the precious little amount of space available in an SM. It should fit 6'2" 230 lbs easily.

Safety:

Custom TC design cage with internal dash bar & driver's "NASCAR" door bars

Safecraft camlock harness dated 2004 (installed 03/10/05)

Adjustable seat back brace welded to cage

New water pump (in early 2005, only few hours use since)

New spark plugs & wires (in early 2005, only few hours use since)

Straight-ish Jim Daniels-style exhaust with removable center muffler for Laguna (~87dB at laguna, ~98dB elsewhere)

Low race mileage tranny (off of 91K mi donor) with new throwout bearing & shifter bushings

New Lightweight 4-puck racing clutch disc (in early 2005, only few hours use since)

New pressure plate (in early 2005, only few hours use since)

Resurfaced flywheel with new pilot bearing

New clutch master cylinder (in early 2005, only few hours use since)

New clutch slave cylinder (in early 2005, only few hours use since)

MazdaComp clutch-type limited slip diff

Koyo aluminum 55mm thick radiator

New water hoses

Team dynamics wheels with 205/50/15 Toyo RA-1's

Hawk blue (front) & black (rear) brake pads

Suspension:

Spec miata suspension from MazdaSpeed

Miscellaneous goodness:

Hot Lap timer

MazdaSpeed chin spoiler

Momo gas pedal cover (easier heal-toe)

Clutch switch disabled (can start car without having to contort to press clutch)

Pull cable trunk release

Fuel filler neck opened up for easy fueling (no funnel needed - great for enduros)

2006 NASA logbook

Car has junked title, meaning it has been taken off the DMV books forever (note: not a salvaged title - this car was built from a clean 1990 chassis).

OK, I'll bite. I'm interested in the car, but unfortunately I'm in Ohio. I have a very busy schedule and can't come out there until the end of August or possibly even after the Championships in September. If you still have the car then, I'd like to arrange for a closer look.

Any spares? Rims, diff, etc. ?

I have extra TD rims to go with the car. No spares other than a brand new extra Mazda Comp clutch pack LSD. They are available for extra $...
