I might recreate the look of that gold and white on the new red car?

Whaddaya think?

SURVEY SAYS!?

The other pic is the new 86 944 being tested out at the DE here in San Diego. It handles great, but is still a little too heavy.

I'm thinking helium in the tires?

Maybe some of that lightweight blinker fluid that Ray D. uses?

German Silver/black stripe like the gold and white one.

Yeah, I still like the red and gold with white accents too, Chris. But we'll see what comes through with the Liqui-Moly sponsorship package......

Tim,

What are the details of the Liqui-Moly contigency program?

I don't suppose they're looking for another car to sponsor?

Cory, I gave your number to Doug Briggs (Poway) from the ice cream social last night. He has 2 cookies to deal with......

There was a one time contingency deal from Liqui-Moly at Fontana. Wear the decal and finish in the top 5, get a case of racing oil.

Gotta get the cars running/racing before people will pay to advertise on them......and then it helps to win!

Thanks Tim, hopefully he'll give me a call.

I was at Cal Speedway when they were talking about the contingency thing- I wasn't sure if it applied to the whole season, I guess not.

Just a follow-up on the Liqui Moly Cal Speedway product give away earlier this year - after placing in the top 5 both days, and having the required Liqui Moly stickers on my car I went over to the Liqui Moly display area only to find them all packed up and gone by Sunday afternoon. With Timmee's kind and generous assistance recently, I was able to get in contact with Gary from Liqui Moly. He was generous enough to ship me the winning oil as well as many additional Liqui Moly products which I found as a very nice gesture on their part.

So, a big thanks to Timmee for paving the way with the Liqui Moly. Another kudos to Liqui Moly for their great support of the 944spec class. Where else can you get this kind of class comraderie and have a chance to spend so much money to go so slow?

And if anyone is wondering, the Liqui Moly oil tastes considerably better than Mobil1 but no where near as good as Blinker Fluid.

Thanks for making me laugh out loud and having my co-workers look at me funny
