He graciously loaned me the bracketry and donuts off his streetcar when my exhaust decided to be lazy and be dragged half way 'round willow during warm up on Sun. What a great first weekend racing! Some serious pucker factor being out there with those stock cars and that giant dust cloud on Sunday. And I even had my cherry popped in qual when I came up on a (seemingly malfunctioning slower car) and got bumped from behind as I checked up going up to turn 4. Great fun!

And remember Norm, if you have any problems with those exhaust hangers after I got them back on your car... it was Timmy's idea.

Loaning out bracketry and a donut from my exhaust ain't no big thing, Mickey loaned me his new raceing suite, cool shirt and car for the race, now that's big!!! So I am a firm beleiver in CARma, if you put it out there it comes back 10 fold, so the moto is "give till it hurts" especially during national sex week! I can't remember but I think Tim got somebody's car going during the weekend as well. Last month I drove my 944na street car to WS to instruct and my timing belt broke at a place were I coasted into the parking lot at the Frostee Freeze, next door to the Devonshire Motel, I had no idea were the devenshire was, so after nearly a 500 mile drive, I made it to the pariking lot next door to the motel were I was staying. Andy Schermly from Phoenix towed his street legal race car to WS, he offered to tow my car back to the shop that fixed my car in Phoenix and I drove his race car to Sedona and kept it there until the weekend when I returned it to him in Phoenix. His car is a 914 with a 3.6, so what could have been a miserable experience turned out to be a fun trip. By the way I had no idea the timing belt is to be changed every 30,000 miles, I had 35,000 miles on it. But it only bent 6 out 8 valves, so, see it could have been worse!!! ha ha.

My point is, what a fun and generous group of friends we have!!!!!!
