Noob with question on Tranny

Ok, I'm finishing up my Del Sol this year, and I'm looking at getting back into some form of track racing. I have looked into ITA and didn't like the rules on some things. I have read and re-read the manual. In H1 and HU can I swap 3rd, 4th, or 5th gear for an ALTERNATE FACTORY GEAR...I'm going to be running a single cam?

 

The del sol I'm finishing up is a SOHC turbo car, I know that puts me in HU. Also how many people are running in HU. I looked though some of the drivers profiles and couldn't find many people doing that?

Factory gear swaps should be OK in H1/HU.

 

I'll be HU for the rest of this year, then H1 after that in a new car.

HU is not the place to be. Unless, you're this 500 whp NSX..

Thank you for the speedy reply.

 

That makes me think differently on my decision then. I guess scrap the turbo idea and find a set of stock rods and pistons again...unless H1 changes the rules on cylinder heads and pistons. Needless to say, I port heads for milzy motorsports and well ok...back to thinking this through again.
