Or stick a Roundel on the front and run GTS2? Quote
0x1 Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 It's a bit of a drive, but you're always welcome to run w/ us in AZ. Quote
Thawley Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 It's a bit of a drive, but you're always welcome to run w/ us in AZ. Or us in CA... Most of the AZ boys come out for Cal Speedway in March. Plenty of time to plan for that. Thawley Quote

Yes this is the junker teg.. but it runs so well and i realy want to run door to door. Quote
zuperdave Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 .. it runs so well and i realy want to run door to door. I've got a new trans hooked up to the stock motor in my old Civic that's going to make it a LOT of fun in PT before the Honda Challenge motor is ready. Quote

Rene M Posted August 9, 2006 Author Posted August 9, 2006 We have an equal # of Hondas running in PT and HC here in the SE... Man, you guys in the SE have a great schedule.... Texas Does not have any thing to compare.. The only class that has a strong turn out is AI/CMC followed by the "killer bees, Miata" other than that is ones and two's in each class. Its very depressing. Quote

You'll have every pole, and every flag to flag checkered win for every race you'll start. It's just too bad that you spent all that money in a car and not have any competition. If I'm correct, didn't you post a pic in honda-tech of a multi car rig you just bought? If you want to have competition it looks like you gotta travel to the left or right coast to see how you measure up. Better warm up that new rig of yours. Even better yet, come to nationals! They'll be plenty of competition here. BBR Quote
Members Jim P. Posted August 9, 2006 Members Posted August 9, 2006 Man, you guys in the SE have a great schedule.... Thanks, it helps that we have many great racetracks here in the SE, we are planning on adding Lowes Motorspeedway and possibly Barber next year to the schedule There are three(3) new tracks being built in our region, it looks like can expand our track selection even more in the next few years Quote
bpanther Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Don't feel bad Rene.... It's pretty much AI, Spec944 and SM that will be popular here in RM region. We've got one HC car right now and I think he (Brian) feels your pain. It seems like all the Hondas here can only drive straight Quote

0x1 Posted August 10, 2006 Posted August 10, 2006 Yeah, I've never understood it either. In straight line racing, the more money you spend and more work you put into the car, the less time you actually get to enjoy it. I hate to have to spend 3 weekends in the garage just getting the car ready for like 2+ hours of track time. I can't imagine doing the same thing for like 2 minutes total track time (8 runs). I had the same feeling about auto-x, although, at least those 3 minutes are a hell of a lot more fun than the 2 on the drag strip. - Scott Quote
